Hunter Distillery Wins Five Medals at the Inaugural Australian Distilled Spirits & Liqueurs Competition

Australian spirit producers put in a stellar performance at the awards with the awarding of 9 whiskey medals and 32 spirit medals at the inaugural Australian Distilled Spirits & Liqueurs Competition conducted by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) this week.

The Hunter Distillery team came away with 5 of the 32 spirit awards in what was a very tough assessment process – with only 9 silver medals being awarded in the entire spirit competition.

Hunter Distillery received 2 of the 9 silver medals awarded; awards for its Copperwave Organic Gin (joint best in class) and its Valli Organic Chili Vodka (joint best in class).

Bronze medals were awarded for Valli Organic Premium Vodka & Lemon Myrtle Vodka and the Distillery's Black Label Ginger Liqueur.
